Important information regarding this grant:
- This grant is open to K - 8th grade classroom teachers working in Indiana schools and provides teachers with funding opportunities ranging from $75-$500 to use on classroom equipment and supplies, with an emphasis on projects using supplies that are sustainable beyond the grant period.
- Individual schools can complete one application per grant cycle and request a maximum of $500
- Applications are evaluated based on how the project or initiative will enhance existing curriculum in unique ways, and whether it promotes hands-on, inquiry-based STEM classroom activities
- Preference will be given to schools with a free or reduced price lunch percentage of 55% or greater
- If awarded a grant, recipients will be required to submit a grant report by May 31, 2020 which will include the lesson plan, supply list, and a list of current state standards for the proposed classroom activity to be shared in TPF4Y's STEM Project Library
- This is a competitive grant process. Not all applicants will receive funding, and some applicants may receive less funding than requested. Applicants are encouraged to provide detailed information in responses.
